HOSTEL: We propose to start a Girls hostel in next few years.
LIBRARIES: All institutions have well established libraries with ample books on subject matters as per the curriculum and other books, periodicals etc.
SPORTS: All institutions have a full time Physical Education Teacher who takes care of all the sports activities and equal participation in various events.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES: We are always keen to take special efforts to promote the cultural and extracurricular activities so as to develop the personality and interest of individual student.
STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS: A sense of recognition is an essential element in everyone’s life. Various awards are given to students depending upon their performance, excellence in every sphere.
TRAINING AND PLACEMENT: In today’s competitive environment Training & Placement department finds a crucial role. Mere academic certificate & performance doesn’t make the student employable. The employability factor becomes more important and T&P department needs to formulate a comprehensive policy to impart the parallel skills along with the regular curriculum so that students become employable.
The Training & Placement Cell of DP NAGPUR facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students. The cell liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses which conduct campus interviews and select graduate students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Office provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics.
The T&P Cell is assisted by a committee comprising of faculties & representatives of students. The committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Student members are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions.
We propose to start a separate Training and Placement cell so as to explore the Job opportunities for every student.
A specialized cell is already established in Dharampeth Polytechnic College. Well known and renowned firms provide placements to eligible students.
